Pablo Henri Ramírez Didou

Pablo Henri Ramírez Didou tiene licenciatura en periodismo y comunicación por la Universidad de Ming Chuan en Taiwán; maestría en estudios contemporáneos de Asia por la Universidad de Ámsterdam, y doctorado en estudios tailandeses por la Universidad de Chulalongkorn. Ha trabajado como coordinador de investigación en la Universidad de Bangkok, como coordinador de internacionalización en la Unión de Universidades de América Latina y el Caribe, y como asesor del subsecretario de Educación Básica de la Secretaría de Educación Pública de México. Actualmente, es cocoordinador del Módulo sobre Sureste de Asia del Programa Universitario de Estudios de Asia y África de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Resumen

2021 ha sido un año complicado para Tailandia. La pandemia del coronavirus, que parecía dominada en 2020, terminó por afectar todos los aspectos de la vida tailandesa. El gobierno de Prayuth Chan-o-cha ha tenido que enfrentar la gestión sanitaria de la pandemia, la crisis política que ésta ha ocasionado en el país, el movimiento estudiantil que busca una reforma social y política, así como las tensiones existentes entre sus socios regionales de la ASEAN y la guerra comercial entre China y Estados Unidos.
